Dennis describes the process, such as it is:

"We sometimes wonder how it happens...

First we start with an idea, which in itself is a wonder to behold, some idea or feeling grabbed out of the nether regions of someone's brain to be converted in some weird convoluted cauldron and translated by the hands through the instrument into the air to drift aimlessly until it is picked up by some one else's ear, rattled along some bones, popped into a brain to create some emotional reaction. Wow! Hard enough for one person let alone three or more. To have the cosmic connection with other players so everyone is playing the same thing and making it up as you go along is indeed an awe inspiring feeling felt by far too few.

Think of any song that has moved you to weep like a baby or get up and dance like there is no tomorrow. The song that will forever remind you of that special moment in time. The song that your Dad used to whistle or that your Mom used to sing... "
